Hearing Assessment

A hearing assessment is a comprehensive examination performed by one of our accredited clinicians to identify the level of hearing loss “or as well as” the best hearing device solutions or treatment options available. During the examination, the individual’s hearing of various frequencies and spoken sounds is assesed by using a range of tests like pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and middle ear evaluations. The results of these assessments aid in determining the extent of any hearing loss and guiding the proper course of treatment or intervention. The clinician will also ask the patient about their lifestyle and communication needs to ensure that the suggested hearing solutions or hearing aids are appropriate for their needs. A thorough hearing evaluation takes 45- 60 minutes.

Depending on the results and the specific configuration of your hearing loss, our recommendations may involve seeking medical advice from your GP or ENT specialist, as well as considering suitable devices that can enhance your communication needs.
